One Obstacle at a Time

Tough Runner Logo_White-01 (1).png

Tough Runner is an exciting mobile obstacle course designed

specifically for primary school children.

This unique program transforms your school field into a thrilling mud run obstacle course (similar to the popular Tough Mudder), featuring up to 15 fun and challenging obstacles like spider webs, slack lines, tunnels, net climbs, cargo nets, tyre runs, balance beams along with the hugely popular "JailBreak" and "TILT.

The Tough Runner course aims to promote physical fitness, teamwork

and resilience among your children.

"Our children loved every moment, from watching it being set up on the school field to having the experience of having a go!

Everyone got stuck in and their smiles said it all.

These memories will last a lifetime"

Testimonials

"The Tough Runner course was amazing! The children absolutely loved it, and it was so accessible for all.  The team helped all the children understand the rules and why we had them, and then made it lots of fun! We will definitely be booking it again for next year"

  • Safety is our top priority. All our courses are designed with children's safety in mind and are supervised by experienced and trained staff. We conduct thorough risk assessments before every event, and all activities are carefully monitored throughout the day. Additionally, our equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to the highest standards.

  • You will need a grass playing field for this activity -We can adapt the Tough Runner course to fit a variety of spaces, large or small -  Ideally, we require a flat, open area, but our team will work with you to make the best use of the space available at your school.

If you don't have a school field, consider a joint event with another local school by sharing a field or hiring a green space from your local authority.

  • A standard Tough Runner event typically lasts a full school day, with different groups of children rotating through the course. We can tailor the schedule to fit your school's specific timetable and needs.

  • We recommend that children wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy trainers. Since the course involves physical activity, clothes that can get a bit muddy or wet are ideal. We also suggest bringing a change of clothes.

  • Yes, we provide a comprehensive pre-event pack that includes information on what to expect, how to prepare the children, and any specific requirements for the day. This pack also includes risk assessments and safety guidelines to ensure the event runs smoothly.

  • Absolutely! We encourage schools to invite parents to come and cheer on their children as they participate in the Tough Runner course. It’s a great opportunity for parents to see their children in action, building resilience and having fun.
